I don't know if I'm a writer or if I just have way more stuff to say than there are ears to hear it, so the overflow has to go down on paper (or down in pixels on screen as the case may be). I've been overflowing all the stuff I want to say for about 40 years now, and there's no sign I'm about to run out of stuff any time soon.
